Skeleton Fun!

No BONES about it...my students LOVED every minute of this skeleton activity.  The picture above was the template that the kiddos were supposed to follow.  BUT...how can you not smile about their work.  I LOVE them so much I had to SHARE!

Fallin' into Fun!

Here is a FUN way to add a little FALL into your classroom.
This may be as much decoration we get up this season...but the kiddos are lovin' it! 

We did "side 1" together as a class.

"Side 2" the students repeated the steps themselves!

THE BEST THING IS...where ever you are standing in the classroom you have a smiling pumpkin looking at you!

"SELFIE" ~ End-Of-The-Year Bulletin Board

With the end of the school year near, why not let your kiddos remember the school year that is all about them.  A selfie!  The students painted a smartphone, took a “SELFIE”, and then wrote about their favorite place to be in our kindergarten classroom. 

I like the art center because I can make pretty pictures. 

I like the art center because I get to
make things with my friends. 

I like the art center because you can
create whatever you want. 

I like the reading corner because
I love to read dinosaur books.  

I like the art center because
I like to make pictures for my mom!

I like the writing table because I get to write stories. 

I like journals because I can write about unicorns.

A Sledding We Will Go!

Love this...our principal is the snowman!



Mrs. Caral Lokken is an early childhood and special education teacher in our building.  Last year she won the golden apple award...and I was so proud of her!  This is one of her amazing bulletin boards she displays for all the students, parents, and staff to see!

Frosty Fun

It is almost 11:00 pm and I got my hallway bulletin board up before midnight.  YEAH!  Annnnddd....this is all that my brain can think of writing at this time so here are some pictures to share of my, My Heart Belongs To Frosty !, Bulletin Board.  I believe I got the snowman idea from the very busy kindergarten blog.  Check it out!

This was our fun for the day....sheet sledding in the house!

Then we played with insta-snow before we went outside to have some fun in the real snow...which I am so happy we have...FINALLY!

Wrapped Up in Kindergarten

I think this is one of my NEW favorite bulletin boards for the hallway.  So cute and a glue stick mess! 

I gave the students white rectangles (measurements below).  The students had to cut the rectangle into a oval shape and "warp it" with torn white construction paper.  I used about 40 11*17 white sheets to tear up into strips. Yes...the night before I tore the strips! 
Head - 8*8
Body - 11*7
Legs - 8*3
Arm - 6*3
Mouth - 5*2.5
Eye - 2.5*2.5
