Pete The Cat School Tour

On the first day of school, we  read (sing) the book Pete the Cat: Rocking in My School Shoes to the students.

After the story...we go on a getting-to-know-the-school walk looking for different colored shoes with "CLUES" on them.

We are always super surprised with how many of them TRULY believe that we'll find Pete the Cat.

ENJOY your school year with your students, because it's ALL good!

Pete The Cat Tour!

We had the BEST first 2 days of school this week.  The kids had SO much FUN!  I am SO proud of how well they are behaving and learning all the rules of the classroom and the school.
The students always LOVE our “Pete the Cat School Tour!”  I'm always super surprised how many of them TRULY believe that we'll find Pete the Cat.

Look at those SMILES!

Tricky part is trying to get the "TREAT" into the classroom while you are gone!

Pete The Cat...And A Freebie!

I wanted to share our "Pete the Cat" graph from this week.  You are probably thinking...we are so over that right now.   But...we just cannot get enough of him!  Having my little 4K kiddos in my classroom in the afternoon gives me even more of a reason to keep reading his wonderful books!  The students are singing Pete's songs all...day...long...and so am I!!!

The "Rockin" shoes in my graph are from this FABULOUS Freebie.  Click {right here} to go to Peace, Love & Learning Blog.
