“Reading Time” for struggling or
reluctant readers can be a very frustrating experience in the classroom. They will spend as little time reading as
possible. But with a “BUDDY” it can be
more enjoyable!
We have created 5 "Partner Reading" binders
that the students can choose to read
someplace special in the classroom.
On these pages...we have highlighted the sentence for when it is the students turn to read. This takes some of the anxiety out of "when is it my turn" and they can focus more on reading.
