Let's party like were going extinct!

Did I get your attention!?!  In our classroom,  we are learning all about Dinosaurs.  I will admit...the students can say the names of the dinosaurs better than I can.  HE HE HE  We are having a roar~ing good time in our reading corner...check out all the rockin' stuff we can do there!

Love~Ya Words (lava words)  The students will look at the volcano for the words to search for...how fun, right!?!

My classroom aide (who is so wonderful and sweet to let my kiddos touch her rock collection) is sharing her rocks with the students.  She even has LAVA ROCKS!

I over heard one of my students saying....your my friendosaurus!  Why didn't I think of that...too cute?!?
Here is a FREEBIE of my Love-Ya Word Search.  ENJOY!

During our center time we are using Julie Lee's Dino-mite Unit.  If you click  {here...it is on sale!}  it should bring you to the Dino Unit in her TPT shop.  Here are a couple pictures of my favorite centers!

Long-Neck Lingo....silly or real words

Bronto's Before & After...The students will write what 2 letters come before and after the letter on the dino.  It surprises me how hard this is for some kiddos.

Stegosaurus Subtraction...the students will write how many dots on the dino/write it on the line, roll the dice/write it on the 2nd line, & subtract.  Love it!

I think you are DINO~MITE if you check out our Ocean Math and Literacy Unit...click  {right here} at our Teachers Notebook Shop.  What a great way to end the school year!  Thank you to all the wonderful people who have bought the unit and sent us such "SWEET" comments.  It means a lot to us!

Thanks for stopping by...don't forget to leave a "ROOOAAAAR!"
