I used to always use a solid paint color or stamp to add the hand print to the Grandparent's poem. This year, I copied Ms. Dickinsen's way of doing it and I LOVE IT! My teaching partners are so creative!

I love the handprint and poem! We just had Grandparent's Day on Wednesday. I'll have to tuck this away for next year. The hats are really cute too. Thanks for sharing. Liz in South Dakota
I saw a whole bunch of ideas on a website that showed painting the fingers/hands different colors to make lots of different things. It was cute at the time, but I don't think I saved the site.
What kind of paint is the easiest to use for the handprint?
I love this!!!! Thanks for sharing. I am always looking for good ideas for grandparents day. My popsicle stick photo frames are getting old : )

I used your idea yesterday - loved it! Do you mind if I put the printable I made of the poem on my blog?

Aw, this was a very nice post. Taking the time and actual effort to produce a good article… but what can I say… I
hesitate a lot and don't manage to get anything done.
