This week Deedee Wills shared a fabulous resource from Differentiated Kindergarten Blog about sensory bins. Scarecrows are too cute not to share what we are doing in our sensory table!
The students can stuff and un-stuff the scarecrow. Then they get to label the scarecrow. After all the fun, the students will label a scarecrow on a worksheet to take home.
Hi-Ho, Hi-Ho, It's Off To Raking I Go!
Have A Good Fall, Y'all!!!
This is really cute! Where did you get the scarecrow and what is it they are using to stuff it? It doesn't look like straw.
ReplyDeleteI recently bought the scarecrow from Micheals. It was 80 percent off because of the end of the season sale! I had our janitor cut off the pole it was on. I shredded yellow paper in a paper shredder. I thought real straw would cause issues with some.
ReplyDeleteThis is the cutest idea! My kiddos would love this! Thanks for sharing! I miss you two!
