Sight Word Decorated Tree

The students will place the correct spelling of the sight word bulb on top of the sight word bulb that is mixed up.  When all the correct bulbs are on the tree he/she will write the sight words on a piece of paper.  The students will have to tell me each sight word on his/her paper.  I will circle the sight word(s) that the student does not know to practice at home.

X-mas ornament for parents

In the picture, I did not add the student picture in the middle of the snowflake for privacy reasons.
This ornament is a 4 step process, but is sooooo adorable!
1 - Have the students help you hot glue 4 large popsicle sticks together.
2 - Have the students paint the popsicle sticks.  I like to use a light blue color.
3 - After the paint dries, have the students put a layer of glue/water mixed together on all the sticks and add
      snowflake glitter/flakes.
4 - The teacher will hot glue on their picture in the middle and a loop of yarn to hang the ornament.

Teacher Gift to Students

In a X-mas themed bag I will add Hershy Hugs and Kisses.  On the outside I will attach this saying....
When I am away and it's me that you miss...
Come to this bag for a hug or a kiss!

Rudolph! Rudolph!

The students will complete the book by glueing on the correct nose on each page.  This book works on rhyming and recognizing color words.  You can print a copy off under the theme link at http://www.luv2teachk.shutterfly.com/

Reindeer Food

The students will add sugar, oats, and glitter into a x-mas themed bag and mix together for the reindeer.  Then they will attach this message to the bag.
Sprinkle on the lawn at night
The moon will make it sparkle bright
As Santa's reindder fly and roam
This will guide them to your home!
