'Tis the season to make a fact list in "book style"!  I read a non-fiction story about reindeers and we brainstormed things we knew about reindeer.  During academic free-choice a couple of my students made this reindeer book together.  Then when it was shared writing time, each student wrote a fact about reindeers in our book.  The book will stay in the classroom for students to keep reading.
Miss Neuenschwander's December Bulletin Board...
If I had a reindeer, I would play outdoors with it. We would play ball and house.
If I had a reindeer, I would feed it carrots. I would ride on it.
If I had a reindeer, I would ride it to the Super Bowl.
Mrs. Osterman's December Bulletin Board...
I would be a good reindeer because I can be nice to other reindeer.
I would be a good reindeer because I give toys to kids.
I would be a good reindeer because I would help Santa pull his sled.
I would be a good reindeer because I can help Santa deliver presents!
I would be a good reindeer because I can fly.

Mrs. Morrow...I do not have a pattern for the reindeer fact book. I found a picture on Pinterest (sorry...I do not remember who created this adorable reindeer). The students and I just looked at the picture and cut the pieces out. I do have a copy of the reindeer patterns for the writing project. I will try to attach them! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI would love that! Thanks again for sharing! Enjoy your holidays!
