Word Sliders For Kids

One of our FAVORITE "GO TO" activities is
"Word Detective Sliders".  Students ENJOY participating in the activity each time.  We BELIEVE our students have become really GOOD at sounding out words because of this ENGAGING activity.
BAD NEWS....Lakeshore does not carry this item anymore!

 We had a FANTASTIC idea
for our students to create their own
"Word Sliders" to work with their
friends & families.
LOOK AT ALL THE FUN LEARNING GOING ON!

GREAT NEWS...Rachelle Smith from "What The Teacher Wants Blog" has "Word Sliders" in their TpT shop.

Seussville Fun!

I so badly wanted to do a "Dr. Seuss" room transformation/classroom flip.
Thing 1 & 2, Sneetches, Grinch, Sam-I-Am, Horton, The Fox, The Lorax, Yertle the Turtle, Cat  in the Hat, etc.
Each part of our classroom could come alive with a
Dr. Seuss book.
Did not happen....this year! WINK~WINK
I have another great idea for a classroom flip...but you will have to wait & see.

Have you heard of a room transformation
or a classroom flip?

Our classroom reading loft got a
"MINI SEUSSVILLE FLIP".
Enjoy the pictures & freebie!

After reading the book, One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish, the students went fishing for CVC words.

The students filled in the missing words in our "I Can Read" emergent reader.
